Just went round the village with Steph, Mick, Kaia and Fletcher. Found eggs numbered 7, 9, 15, 18, 22, 23, 27, 32 and 52. Also found a few eggs from last year.

This was the first year that Sophia was able to carry her own basket and search for eggs in the village. We started on Roosevelt and found a yellow egg with some crazy hair, and when we opened it there was a pleasant note that stated that it was an egg from last year, and it was too cute to throw away. I thought it was so cool that someone took the time to put it out, and it looks like he or she planted a few more :). After walking the village and not finding any we got in the car and began to head home. Then all of the sudden we were stopped at the light on Carlsbad Village Dr. and Coast Highway, and there sitting on the window sill of Pig Liquor was a little man egg “The Butterfly Watcher” to be precise lol! Numbered 24. We had a blast watching Sophia search for the eggs 🙂

Yo Yo Yo! I found lance #40 hanging out in my tree outside the good ol’ Surf Shack! Not surprising considering the creator of this psychedelic egg is often found wondering around here. Hope you all had happy hunting. And thanks Bry Sny for the “clue”

My husband Mike and I were taking a letter to the post office this morning and saw the Carlsbadcrawl poster. We’ve been walking around the village shopping and enjoying Carlsbad. We’ve been vacationing here for 20 years, and bought a home near the village almost three years ago. We love it here!
