Not usually late but today 4 o’clock was TOO late 🙁 I had to re-hide #11 which was found outside the pub this morning by my friend the Mother of Queen of Colors, which coincidentally made the egg, which was an awesome snow man looking guy… egg blue, with snow flake hair, shiny white horns, blue puff balls for cheeks and a nose, and the most awesome feather beard! LOVE IT!. I also had to re-hide an awesome bunch of grapes colored dark and light purple including a bright green stem and leaf, #7. This one was orginally found by another local crawler this early morn in the middle of Elm Street. He says if he had not know there was a carl crawl easter bunny he would have let this purple puff continue its journey by the wind through the streets of Carlsbad. I have to say thank you to those early bird friends of mine that made it to the streets to grab the two that I could then let my 3 year old daughter find. If it had not been for you, I think Kota Bear would have been disappointed. And Thank You Bryan for bringing arts and creativity to the village and Honey Bee for being a wonderful hostess 🙂

I was really looking forward to the egg hunt after the decorating party. I was a little disappointed to find out that so many eggs had been taken early in the morning by only one or two people. Last year I got out a little earlier and found a lot of eggs, but I only took 2 that I really liked and left the rest. That way more people could enjoy the egg hunt. Sadly, this year I didn’t get out to look until noon. So no eggs for me this year. I still had a blast at the decorating party, I can’t wait to do that again, and next year Ill make a point to get out of the house earlier.

Thanks again Bryan and Brianna for all your hard work, and everyone that made it to the decorating party.
